pictures &
diagrams
On this page you will find examples of still images and diagrams we produce for our clients. The illustrations we create are realistic, easy to understand, visually pleasing. Examples of our work in this area range from sequence diagrams to show each step of an accident prior to impact all the way to crush measurement comparisons with exemplar vehicles. Click through each example below to take a look.
Broadside Collision
Sequence Diagrams
In this set of diagrams, we have a high speed broadside accident that ends in tragedy. Unit 1, is the white SUV, entering from the bottom of the screen. Unit 2, a Crown Victoria, enters from the right. Unit 2 runs the red light and is then impacted by Unit 1.
Extreme Accuracy
From 3D Scanning
This is a simple visualization showing roadway drop-off depth direct from our FARO 3-D Laser Scanner. The FARO 3-D Laser Scanner records millions of points of any scene, structure, or vehicle and allows our team to analyze them beyond the date of a physical inspection.
Roadway Analysis Using
3-D Scans
Roadway evidence such as slopes of tarmac, medians, culverts, and more, can play an important role in accident reconstruction. Here, we have a vehicle that fishtailed and rolled over into a culvert filled with water. By using the FARO 3-D Scanner, we've been able to provide diagrams showing detailed measurements in a super realistic environment.
Subject Vehicle and
Exemplar Comparisons
This set of diagrams shows a vehicle involved in an accident where once impacted, exploded. But why? Our investigation, which included 3-D scanning the subject vehicles and measurements of the gas tank & sending unit on the impacted vehicle, led us to conclude that the gas tank design and placement was inappropriate for a rear impact.

Aerial Inspections Using
Small Unmanned Aircraft
Sure, Google Maps can get you an aerial image of a scene, but a drone offers a unequaled view. Not only are images crystal clear, but they're also more up to date. Google maps are often outdated. If deployed in a timely fashion, drones can capture crucial evidence at scenes such as roadway conditions, skid marks, gauges, paint marks and more. Here, we were able to capture all of the above to determine area of impact, direction of travel after impact, as well as final rest.
